The core team of Ark announced yesterday the official release of the new wallet upgrade including the plugin manager. With Plugin Manager, investors are now able to browse, find and install plugins directly to their wallet in a few clicks. This new solution with facilitating the interaction with other plugins within the ecosystem including themes, tools, exchanges, games and more. Investors can have access to Plugin Manager by downloading the latest version of the ARK Desktop Wallet v2.7.0, available here: https://ark.io/wallet. With Plugin Manager, all of the plugins are easy to find and install.
How to install a plugin
- Download the latest version of the ARK Desktop Wallet (available here: https://ark.io/wallet).
- Once the wallet is fully synced and ready to be used, investors can and either search or browse for a plugin from games, themes, tools, utilities and more.
- The last step is to click on the “Install” button on the selection, download the plugin and confirm the fresh install by clicking again to get access to plugins.
Design your theme plugin competition
Ark team has organized a new event to celebrate the release and has prepared up to $500 USD worth of prizes for the best themes divided into several prizes. The first place will receive $300 USD worth of ARK Tokens, a Ledger Nano S, and ARK-branded merch. The second place will receive $150 USD worth of ARK Tokens and ARK merch. The third place will then earn $50 USD worth of ARK Tokens and ARK merch. Finally, all competition entrants will also be added into a prize draw to win a swag bag full of ARK-branded merch.
