The Zcoin POS app
is available on android and according to the announcement on Twitter, it won’t have a monthly fee for users. The app will also allow converting your smartphone or tablet into a PoS Device. According to PlusBit, they will not get any fee from transactions.
The app will basically allow merchants to accept Zcoin easily by basically transforming their device into a POS (Point-of-Sale) terminal.
There are a lot of benefits of this, including no KYC, no monthly fees, no need to register an account and total control over your private keys as PlusBit doesn’t store or hold them. The app also supports multiple languages and 12 different fiat units.
PlusBit allows P2P transactions, meaning that there is no third-party involved as they do not hold the funds, PlusBit simply processes the payment. The transactions are validated within seconds, something crucial if you are a business.
So far, PlusBit supports only a few cryptocurrencies, Litecoin, Reddcoin, Zcoin, HTMLcoin, DigiByte, Safecoin, Zero, and DASH.
The software company is also working on a few updates like the implementation of an invoice history, the ability to print your invoice, support for the iOS and NFC payments, later in 2020.
