Zcoin Version v0.13.8.5 wallets release
By Inkarias - 2019-10-31
Zcoin uses the Zerocoin protocol to provide anonymous transactions in a unique and scalable way. The protocol, originally designed as an extension of Bitcoin, allows you to send money without transaction history. Bitcoin records the history of each transaction on a public registry so that everyone can see it. Portfolio addresses are only pseudo-anonymous, with the ability for everyone to link your identity to an address. However, with Zcoin, you can preserve the fungibility and confidentiality of your expenses. The team is actively working on improving all the features and softwares associated with the project.
The core team has officially announced the release of the new wallet version 0.13.8.5 with a new major feature added to the ecosystem:
Exodus tokenization layer with Sigma support is entirely completed. This solution allows anyone to create their own token with Sigma privacy within Zcoin's blockchain. The block which will activate this feature is the 212,000. The tutorial to build a personal token on the chain is available here : https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/wiki/How-to-Create-an-Exodus-Token-on-the-Zcoin-Blockchain.
